Brother Paul DiMaggio, called from labor April 6th, 2008. Our Brother Paul Dimaggio went home to his loving Lord, April 6, 2008. Visitation will be at Southern Heritage, Pelham, Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services, with a Masonic Service included, will be at Southern Heritage on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 2PM and interment at Southern Heritage Cemetery. The family also requested that the Lodge provide pallbearers. All Brethren are requested to attend, if within the length of your cable tow. A lodge of sorrow will be opened tomorrow around 12:30 at Buck Creek Lodge.
"He was born in Independence, Louisiana on June 17, 1925. He is survived by his much loved wife of 6 years, Margaret Lovelady DiMaggio; son, Galin DiMaggio (Bethany); daughters, Diane DiMaggio Bohannan (Bo) and Paulette DiMaggio Seales (Tom); 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, Kayren Owens (Kenneth), Tim Lovelady (Donna), Kim Lovelady (Debra) and JoEllen Ramsey (Chris); and brother, Marion DiMaggio (Helen) of Irving, TX. Mr. DiMaggio was a union brother of the International Union of Operating Engineers for 63 years, Local 312 of Birmingham. Paul was an active member of First Baptist Helena. He had served the Shelby county community through the Alabaster Civitians, Shriners and by being an active member for 41 years in the Alabaster Corinthian Masonic Lodge #462. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the First Baptist CLC Fund." |
